The process of putting a successful wine pairing together is a little bit of work, but it’s always worth it when we can share something special with our friends and guests! When we plan a wine pairing at The Boston Winery, it’s so important to us that we feature a passionate, local restaurant. We pour all of ourselves into making our wine, so it is imperative that the tasty bites we choose to serve possess the same amount of passion that we pour into our glasses.
We aim to pair up with businesses that provide a fun and fresh spin on their food. Our most recent pairing with Idle Hour hit the nail on the head for our ideal partner in pairings. Idle Hour’s kitchen is a scratch kitchen, meaning all of their ingredients are fresh, locally sourced, and made in-house. They have full control over their menu, allowing them to create funky and unique plates which bring out new flavors in our wines!

The ability to work with creative businesses is undoubtedly a highlight of planning our wine pairing events. We were ecstatic to pair our wines with Union Square Donuts this past summer. Union Square Donuts is known for pushing the definition of donuts by creating donuts with bold flavor combinations.
To pair Union Square Donuts with our wine was so thrilling because it was a new pairing for us and all of you! We love to surprise you with creative pairings like this; after all, we want to give you an experience that you’ve never had before!

When we choose a local business to collaborate with for our wine pairings, it’s because we admire them for their passion and dedication to their craft. Working with like-minded people allows us to create something special for you while also creating connections with other businesses in our community. We cherish building these bonds, especially during the past year.
Bringing people together has always been our main goal when we curate these pairings, we come together with other local businesses and welcome a whole new group of people into our tasting room and patio. Community and friendship are so important to enjoy the finer things in life!
One local Dorchester restaurant that we team with continuously is Venezia Restaurant. We’ve built a strong bond with them over the years and have hosted many successful events with them - you can’t deny that nothing beats a classic pairing of Italian food and Boston Winery wine! Venezia’s menu is traditional and faithful to the Italian culture, and we appreciate the devotion to their heritage.
